Systems Seating Ltd is a company based in West Bromwich which designs,manufactures and imports a vast range of functional and reliable office seating furniture for companies nationwide.

Systems Seating Ltd recognizes that through working with its customers and suppliers, its activities, products and services do have an impact on the environment and is committed to reducing the environmental impacts of its operations.

In order to ensure that all company activities are managed in a way that will prevent, control or minimise impacts on the environment, Systems Seating Ltd is committed to the implementation and maintenance of a documented Environmental Management System (EMS) for its business activities.

Systems Seating Ltd will achieve this by:

* Implementing and maintaining an Environmental Management System which meets the requirements of lSO14001 12004

* Complying with all relevant environmental legal and other requirements including the Furniture lndustry Sustainability Program (FISP) requirements.

* Minimising waste and utilising resources such as materials and energy in a sustainable manner.

* Reducing and preventing pollution from discharges and emissions to the environment.

* Seeking to use the least environmentally damaging materials in the manufacture and construction of products taking into account recycling and disposal options.

* Considering key environmental and social issues in procurement and developing chain of custody systems for sustainable timber purchasing.

* Setting and reviewing objectives, targets & the Policy at least annually, to ensure continual improvement.

* Training employees on their environmental responsibilities to ensure active participation in achieving environmental objectives and targets.

* Communicating the policy to all employees, stakeholders and those working on behalf of the organization and making it available to the public upon request.

* This policy will be implemented within the framework of an environmental management system designed to meet requirements of BS EN ISO 14001:2004.
